 Input and output devices of computer are essential parts for performing various functions. Computer is a machine which take data from the user as a input, done some process on the input data and in last provide the meaningful and valuable result to the user. Computer consist of two parts software and hardware. User some instruction provide to the computer to solving their problems is called software. Software is also known Program. Hardware are the physical parts of computer like a printer, mouse, keyboard and scanner etc.

If we compare software with hardware, Software can not touch but hardware touched easily. Software reinstall if damage but hardware always repair. Some input and output devices are as follow:

Mouse

Mouse is the most commonly used input device. Normally a mouse consist of two or more buttons. Which one is right click and other one left click. Left click button is mostly use open a file or documents. Right click button is use to check the menus etc.

A scroll ball consist on the top of mouse. Scroll ball rotate for read the long documents or books. Mouse is lightweight and also cheap. Most of the programmer or users use mouse for enter data.

Trackball

Trackball work like a mouse. Advantages of mouse it take less space. User rotate finger on large ball. Whole trackball is not move from one place to other place. This input device use a alternative of mouse.

Touch pad

Touch-pad is mostly use in laptop computer. It is flat surface and easy to use. Two buttons on the top or bottom of touchpad. Touch-pad work like a mouse. Touch-pad is an input device.

Touchscreen

It is an input device. Touchscreen is case sensitive device mostly use in Mobile phone, Tablet and Laptop computers. For seeing large image user two fingers rotate on screen. 

Light Pen

Light pen is a hand held input device. It consist of puck and core. Core work like a copy and puck work like a pen. For enter data user use puck on screen the data automatically enter in inner side. 

Keyboard 

Keyboard is the most commonly use input device. The buttons use in keyboard are called Key. A standard keyboard is normally consist on 100 or more keys. some parts of keyboard are as follow:

• Numeric Part
• functional part
• Special part
• Alphabetic part

Numeric keys consist on digits 0-9, Functional key start from F1 to F12, Alphabetic keys start from A-Z and special keys are *,@,$ and # etc 

Printer

Printer is an output device that is use show images, graphics and text etc. There are two kinds of printer are impact printer and Non-impact printer and further divide in daisy wheel, laser, line printer and page printer etc.

Monitor

Monitor is an output device. Display screen are different with each other by size, color and resoulation. Size of screen measure corner to corner. In monitor mostly used 14 to 17 inches screen or more for special purpose. In Tablet use 7 to 10 inches screen.

RGB basic colors of display screen. RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue. With the mixture of these basic colors more then 256 colors produce easily. 

Resoulation are use pixel. More pixel explain the picture clear and sharp. 

Digital Camera

Digital camera is an input device. After taken the picture connected camera with computer with cable or wireless. Most of the digital cameras provide the facility of edit the picture. Now a days, Android mobile provide the facility of digital camera and with the help of digital camera there is no need extra working. It is easy to use and maintain.
