level of organization

Levels of organization are structure that is use to understand the different phenomena of human life. It is relationship between higher level things between lower level, biologists study biological organization at various level. Some Muslims scientists great contributions in the study of science. Work of jabir bin Hayan, Abdul Malik Asmai and Bu Ali Sina play a vital role in the field of animals and plants. Famous book of jabir bin hayan is Al-Nabatat.

There are all levels of organization are as follow:

Level of Organization

  • Subatomic and Atomic level
  • Molecular level
  • Organelle
  • Tissue
  • Organ and Organ system
  • Individual
  • Population
  • Community
  • Biosphere

level of organization

Subatomic and Atomic Level

All type of matter are made up by various element. Each element consist of one type of atoms. Many subatomic particles are use to make a atom. Most vital particles are electrons, neutron and protons. Neutrons and protons both are located in nucleus of atom. Human body consist of 65% oxygen, 18% carbon, 10% hydrogen, 3% nitrogen, calcium 2%, phosphorous 1 % and 1% consist of others parts.
Only 6 make a ninety nine percent mass of human.

Molecular Level

Bio elements mostly not occur in isolated form they must be combine through covalent or ionic bonding. This stable form of bonding is molecule. Molecule are also call bio molecule.
An organism is consist of hundred of different of molecule. These molecule build a material and various great variety for bonding arrangements.
Bio molecule consist to two classes which are micro molecule and macro-molecule.  Micro molecule are with low molecular like a water and glucose etc. And the other hand, macro-molecule are with high molecular like a starch and proteins etc.

Organelle and Cell level

Bio molecule is a particular way and form organelles. Organelles are consist of sub-cellular they are connect with each other. Each organelle is perform their own function.
For example in case of prokaryotes, the entire organism consist of a single cell. In the case of most fungi, all plants and animals, these are consist trillions of cells.

Tissue Level

Cells that perform same functions are organize into classes are call tissues. Each cell in a tissue carry on its own life processes. There are various types of plant tissues like a ground tissue and epidermal tissue use in plants. Animal tissues are also consists of various tissue.

Organ and Organ system level

If more than one type of tissue having a same activity together and make a team is called organ. Different organ performed various functions. For example, stomach is a special for the digestion.

There are two major types of tissue are use in structure. Both two tissues perform their specific functions, which are become function of stomach. The next level of organization in multicellular organisms is the organ system level. Major organs used in our body are stomach, oral cavity, large intestine, small intestine liver and pancreas. All of these help in the process of digestion.

If the compare animal system level with plants, plants level is less complex.  Greater range of activities and functions in animal  and plants.

Population Level

Population level where the study interconnections among member of same species living in same habitat Habitat means place where organism live.
For example, human population in Pakistan 173 millions individuals views of ministry of population welfare.

 Community level

A community is populations interacting with each other in same environment. A jungle may be considered as a community. It may include plants, fungi and animal etc.
Communities are combinations of organisms, in which one population may decrease and increase. Most of the communities are more complex like a pond community and forest community. A species is defined as a group of organisms.

Biosphere Level

The part of earth that consist of communities is call biosphere level. It explain ecosystem. Ecosystem area where nonliving organisms interact with living organism components of environment.
